Calling all King’s Kids (and Volunteer Helpers!)

It is almost time to kick off another awesome year of fun, faith-based learning for the children of our county! November 16th marks the first session of King’s Kids for the 2022-2023 school year. We are SO EXCITED! If you have not registered your children, please do so soon! You can print the form by clicking: REGISTRATION FORM.

You can either mail it back to the church (306 2nd Ave NW) or drop it off at the church office (Tuesday – Friday from 1:00- 5:00 pm). Having the students pre-registered really helps with our planning!

The theme for this year is “God’s Incredibles.” Elastigirl, Violet, Dash, and Mr. Incredible may immediately come to mind, however, none of these Hollywood characters will be the focus for any of the lessons. Instead of the Hollywood Incredibles, the children will be introduced to the Holy Word Incredibles. A few of “God’s Incredibles” that the King’s Kids will be studying are: Ark Man (Noah), Mr. Obedient, (Abraham), Giant Slayer (David), Lion Man (Daniel) and Bravery Girl (Esther). The King’s Kids will learn about Bible heroes and heroines whose faith in God allowed them to be used by God to “Save the Day”!

Also, It is not too late to sign up to be a volunteer! Please access the volunteer survey by clicking KING’S KIDS VOLUNTEER FORM as soon as possible. We are still in desperate need of volunteers willing to assist with small groups of children. If you know of someone outside of our church family that you think would love an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus, please have them call Lori Baade at 712-358-0556 and she will visit with them about this amazing opportunity!

God Bless! Lori Baade and the HUMC Education Team
