Please attend Important Informational Church Meetings
Hope UMC Leadership Team voted and approved the hosting of three informational meetings for our congregation at their Sept. 21st meeting. The purpose of these meetings is to inform our church family about the impending division of the United Methodist Church, and options that Hope UMC has in that process.
The meetings are the opportunity to inform and to hear everyone’s thoughts and concerns. After the third meeting, the Leadership Team would need to approve a congregational vote by professing members of Hope UMC. Attending these meetings will be extremely important for our entire church family.
The meetings are scheduled for:
- Monday, Sept. 26th @ 6:30 – 8:30 pm
- Sunday, Oct. 9th @ 2:00 – 4:00 pm
- Tuesday, Oct. 18th @ 6:30 – 8:30 pm
We feel we cannot make an informed decision about the future of Hope without these meetings. Please plan to attend as many of them as possible while you keep our church lifted in prayer during this time.
