King’s Kids needs YOU!

If you have already replied to a previous email, THANK YOU!  If you have not, please prayerfully consider volunteering by completing the attached form in the message below.  The reality is we cannot do this program without some dedicated helpers for our SMALL GROUPS each time we meet. Please reply as soon as possible so we can determine if we have enough manpower to move forward with this programming for the youth in our county.  Have a blessed day!

Dear Church Family and Community Friends,

Now that school is back in session, it is time to start planning for another year of King’s Kids.  The Hope UMC Education Team strives to provide the best faith-based educational opportunities for our congregation.  We are all very aware of how wild and crazy the world we live in has become.  With this in mind, we feel compelled to focus our efforts on helping not only the children in our church family, but all the children of Pocahontas County.  All children need to be better equipped to deal with the difficult issues they face on a daily basis.  Through the King’s Kids Program, we feel we can continue to provide opportunities for youth to learn about the love of Jesus and develop a relationship with Him.  As adults, we rely on our faith in God daily, and all children need to know they can do the same!

We would like to thank you and applaud the efforts of all the volunteers who have helped with King’s Kids since its revival in 2019.  It is our hope that by securing another team of amazing volunteers, we will be able to move forward with King’s Kids for the 2022-2023 school year.

Last year we had over 70 kids sign up to be a part of the King’s Kids Program.  With that many energetic elementary kids, it took a lot of dedicated volunteers to make the program a success.  God is definitely at work at Hope UMC.  I can’t wait to see what He has in store for us this year!  Please prayerfully consider how you can be a part of the team.  Please let us know how you are willing to help by clicking on this link:  King’s Kids Volunteer form  and completing it by September 16th.  If you have any questions, please call me at 712-358-0556.  We are so excited to start building our team for the 2022-2023 King’s Kids Program!  We can’t do it without you!

God Bless!

Lori Baade & the HUMC Education Committee
