VBS Day Camp — So. Much. FUN!!!

What a wonderful week at VBS Day Camp! More information will be in the July mid-month newsletter, but the kids and counselors all had a FABULOUS time learning about how “JC” (aka Jesus Christ) can help make us all BRAND NEW!

VBS would not be possible without EVERYONE at church pitching in to help, by providing needed supplies for crafts and snacks, as well as, those who volunteered time to help with registration and in the kitchen. And, it is easy to say that we have absolutely THE. BEST. YOUTH. HELPERS. EVER!!!! What a positive example they set for the kids attending Day Camp. VBS is truly an entire church mission project!!

A special thanks to Lori Baade and Moira Hopkins for the HOURS of prep work they did to help make VBS such a positive experience for our youth. For those that came to the program on Thursday night, the youth’s energy level was exhilarating to say the least! We look forward to more great opportunities in the future, so stay tuned!!

Oh… and then there is the ending “highlight:” The youth get to “pie” a camp counselor/counselors depending on how much money the group raises for the mission project. More on that later, but here is one pic to make you come back for more… 🙂
