Optimistic in October – for UDMO Food Pantry

Since we have been given a new perspective, thanks to COVID-19, let us take time to be optimistic this October for all that He has blessed us with, and share our blessings with those in need.  Please bring something to share with our Upper Des Moines Opportunity Food Pantry offering.

So, please consider bringing something each Sunday to put in the Upper Des Moines collection point at each center to help others.   A couple of items each week can make a big difference!  So pick up a few extra items when you shop to share!  Here is a picture of some of our bountiful givings – – after the first load had already been delivered!

Some items they are in REALLY BIG NEED of are: 

• toilet paper (of course!)
• paper towels
• shampoo
• soap
• canned soup
• canned veggies

Let’s be optimistic and overflow those UDMO Food Pantry containers each week all month long!!
