Youth Group Challenge – Wednesday, Jan. 24th

Okay, the line has been drawn – – or taped – – on the floor!

The Hope UMC Youth meet  this Wednesday night, January 24th at 6:30, and they have challenged the rest of us (aka:  the “non-youth!”)  to a chair volleyball tournament!

So, grab your shoes and let’s show them how it’s done!  Oh, and don’t forget to invite a friend, neighbor, or someone to come along to join the fun and fellowship!  So, it’s a win-win all the way around!

Who knows… we may even get a little work-out in the process!

We “HOPE” to see you there!!  🙂

New worship time begins at Poky this Sunday

Starting Sunday, January 7th, there will be a new worship service schedule for Hope UMC.  The 8:30 worship service at Plover will remain the same.  The worship service that follows at Pocahontas will now begin at 10:30 instead of 10:00.  Sunday school at the Pocahontas Center will begin at 9:30 instead of 9:00.

This will allow for extra travel time for the pastor on wintery, Iowa roads, as well as, allow her to fellowship with others at the early service.   So, mark your calendars with this new change!!
