This Sunday, Sept. 11th – – Reminders

Wow!  We are diving into the Fall worship schedule, so here are some important reminders regarding this coming Sunday, Sept. 11th:

First:  There is only one worship service this Sunday, which will be at Pocahontas @ 10:00 a.m. 

• It will be Promotion Sunday, and third graders will receive their Bibles and attendance awards for 2015-16 will be presented.
• Steve and Moira Hopkins will be sharing about their recent mission trip to Haiti.

Also, it is the kick-off for Sunday School, and classes will begin at 9:00 am.  Meet up in Fellowship Hall for donuts and juice before heading downstairs to the classrooms.    There is even an adult class that will meet at 8:45 for goodies (donuts downstairs in the Friendship Room – – room directly at the bottom of the kitchen stairs) with class starting promptly at 9:oo.

And last, but certainly not least, join the Fun & Fellowship Group for a great afternoon of music.  Meet at the church @ 2:30 to carpool to the SONSHINE SINGERS concert in Ft. Dodge, which begins at 4:00 pm at the Ft. Dodge Middle School.  The group will stop on the way home for supper in Humboldt.

So, mark your calendars, call a friend and/or neighbor, and invite them to join you for these fun events this Sunday!
